We Can’t Wait 2012: From Science to Practice – Relationships Matter
Each day will begin with presentations from experts in the area of science in early childhood followed by local experts who will illustrate examples of implementation throughout the county of San Diego. Participants will choose from a wide variety of workshops in which video demonstrations, ‘hands on’ activities, and interactive discussion will be the method of learning.
Workshop Topics:
Reflective practice; The mental health aspects of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech and language therapy; Effective strategies to support families in the child welfare system; State Competencies and Certification; Preschoolers and social emotional growth; Peripartum health; and Building the important child/ caregiver relationship.
The Conference Aims to Provide Information and Skills that Supports Participants to:
